Clinics & Services

Family Planning

Advice on contraception and provision of free condoms. Implanon and coil fitting. During normal nurse clinics.

Antenatal Care

Routine antenatal check-ups by our qualified midwife. Monday 1pm to 4pm.

Mother and Baby

A drop-in clinic for advice and weight checking. Wednesday mornings at Par Health Centre.


Routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses. Childhood immunisations for school age children will be given at school.  We run flu clinics in September and October.. Ask at reception for further information. Pneumovax, a lifetime protection against pneumonia for patients over 65 or at risk.


These are by appointment with the Practice Nurse.  Please contact Reception to make an appointment.


Regular check-ups and advice from practice nurses on lifestyle, diabetic control and medication. Thursday morning 0900-1200, by appointment.

Stop Smoking Clinic

One to one support from health promotion, issuing of nicotine replacement patches. Wednesday afternoon 1400-1600, by appointment.

Weight Management

One to one support from the practice nurse, dietary advice, weight monitoring. Please book into
nurse clinic.

Heart clinic

Regular check-ups and advice from practice nurses on diet, exercise, smoking cessation. During normal nurse clinics.


Blood taken by trained phlebotomists. 


Routine and followup smears done by practice nurses. During normal clinics.
